On Tuesday I had keyhole surgery to remove my gall bladder. I have never had a 'proper' operation and was very nervous about it. The staff were lovely and everyone from the HCA doing my checks of bp etc to the anesthetist and surgeon who both spoke to me beforehand were very reassuring. I never felt so much as a scratch when the anesthetic was administered. Pre and post op care was very good too. I was back at home by 4.30 the same day and have had no nausea and far less post op discomfort than I was expecting. Even though I hope that I won't need surgery for anything in the future, if I did, i would have no qualms about being referred to you again. Thanks so much for your kindness and professionalism.

I was admitted on Friday pm, assessed and operated on Saturday am - removal of appendix. Due to the skills of the surgeon and the superb care of the nursing team, I was able to go home on Monday am, I have nothing but praise for all those involved including catering and cleaning. But please note: All patients must have fully operating remote control beds.

i had an operation and was sent home the same day - what a leap forward- i was very surprised that within two hours of my op i was being asked who was collecting me. the staff were very freindly and did everything they could to ease my nerves , they seemed to really understand that although this is an every day routine for them, for me it was a very big deal. thank you for the patience and understanding i was shown
